What Cookies Are

What This Site Actually Uses

This site is built and served as a set of pre-built static files, not a database-driven application. There is no server-side session for ordinary visitors, and the site does not set a login cookie or a tracking cookie of its own.

The one thing this site stores in your browser is your own cookie preference. When you make a choice in the banner shown on this site (accept, reject, or a custom selection), that choice is saved in your browser's local storage so you are not asked again on your next visit. Technically that is local storage rather than a cookie, but it serves the same purpose, so this policy covers it the same way.

This site does not use analytics or advertising cookies by default. Nothing beyond what is described in this policy loads before you make a choice in the preference banner, no category is pre-selected, and declining takes exactly as little effort as accepting. If an analytics or marketing tool is ever added to this site, it will be wired through the same preference controls described here, off by default, and it will only run once you actively opt in.

Third Parties: Cloudflare

This site is delivered through Cloudflare's content delivery network, and the contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot-detection check that runs before a submission is accepted. As part of that check, Cloudflare Turnstile may set cookies or use similar device and browser signals, such as your IP address, browser and device information, and approximate country, to help tell a human visitor from an automated one. We do not control the specific cookies Cloudflare sets as part of its network or Turnstile; see Cloudflare's own cookie and privacy disclosures for the details of what it sets.

How Long These Last

Your saved cookie preference stays in your browser's local storage until you change it or clear your browser's site data yourself; we do not set an expiration on it. We do not control, and do not publish, the exact lifetime of any cookie Cloudflare sets while delivering this site or running Turnstile.

Your Choices

Use the cookie preference controls on this site, shown as a banner on your first visit and available again afterward through a reopen button, to accept, reject, or customize your choices at any time. You can also block or delete cookies through your own browser settings, though doing so may affect how the contact form's bot protection behaves. This site does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals.
