How We Got Here
Code Conspirators started as a web development agency. We built WordPress sites for law firms, medical practices, and financial advisors. Good ones. Fast ones. Well-architected ones.
It didn't matter.
Six months after launch, the same thing happened to every client. A plugin update broke a form. A security patch caused a white screen. A caching plugin conflicted with a SEO plugin. The site slowed down. The client called us. We fixed it. It broke again.
We were running a repair shop, not a growth engineering firm.
The deeper we looked, the clearer the problem became. WordPress was designed for blogging in 2003. Everything added since then, the plugin ecosystem, the page builders, the security layers, is scaffolding bolted onto a foundation that was never meant to support professional service businesses.
The security plugins didn't make WordPress secure. They added complexity that created new vulnerabilities. The caching plugins didn't make WordPress fast. They masked the slowness that came from a dynamic architecture doing unnecessary work on every page load.
We tried every hosting provider. Every security stack. Every caching configuration. The problems never went away. They just got more expensive to manage.
So we stopped patching and started building.
What We Built Instead
We started with a question: what would a website platform look like if it were designed for professional service firms in 2026, not for bloggers in 2003?
The answer was simple. Remove the database. Remove the server-side execution. Remove the plugins. Serve static files from a global CDN. Make it editable without a developer.

A static architecture solves 90% of WordPress security problems by design. Not by adding security, but by removing the things that need securing.
The visual editor solves the other 10%. Static sites used to mean calling a developer for every text change. We built a visual editor that lets you update your site without touching code, without breaking anything, and without waiting for someone else to do it.
