Our Commitment

We want this site to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, switch devices, or keyboard-only navigation. We treat accessibility as an ongoing practice, not a box checked once.

Standard We Are Working Toward

We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as our target standard. This is a goal we are building toward, not a claim that every page currently meets it.

Current Status

We have not completed an independent accessibility audit of this site, and we are not claiming conformance with WCAG 2.1 AA or any other accessibility standard at this time. Internally we maintain an automated color-contrast checker covering key text-and-background combinations used across the site's design system. It has not yet been run against this site's own final brand colors, and even against the placeholder color set used during development, it currently flags a small number of contrast shortfalls, including white text on the site's accent-red color at normal text size, the kind of combination used on primary buttons. We are recording that honestly here rather than claiming a conformance level we have not verified.

This statement will be updated as review continues, including once this page itself has been through legal and accessibility review. See the notice at the top of this page.

Accessibility Features Already Built In

• A skip-to-main-content link at the top of every page, for keyboard and screen reader users who want to bypass repeated navigation.
• A visible keyboard focus indicator on every interactive element, shown for keyboard navigation without adding visual noise for mouse users.
• Semantic page structure: a real header, navigation, main content area, and footer on every page, rather than generic unlabeled containers.
• An alt-text field on every image in the content system, including an explicit option to mark an image as decorative so it is correctly skipped by screen readers instead of read aloud.
• Real form labels tied to their fields, keyboard-operable menus and cookie-preference controls, and screen-reader status announcements on form submission.
• A design-token color system, so brand colors are defined in one place and can be checked and adjusted consistently rather than hardcoded page by page.

Known Limitations

• Color contrast has not been independently verified against this site's actual, final brand colors.
• The color-contrast checker described above is a manual, developer-run script. It is not yet wired into automated testing or build checks, and it only checks color contrast, not the full set of WCAG success criteria.
• No manual testing with a screen reader or other assistive technology has been recorded for this site to date, to our knowledge.
